General Health Plan Coverage Information

Kern County provides health plan coverage to their eligible employees and their eligible dependents. Permanent employees have an option of five medical plans. Medical plans include prescription drug coverage. Permanent employees have an option of two dental plans: a Preferred Provider (PPO) plan and a DHMO type plan. View the Dental Plans page for more information about each dental plan.
